General Terms and Conditions

1. Subject of the contract
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the contractual relationship between BudaWeb (Sándor Buda E.V.) and the client for the development of websites, webshops, mobile applications, and other digital services.
2. Order and quote
A quote is valid for 30 days from the date of issue. The contract is concluded when the client accepts the quote in writing (email). The scope of work is defined in the quote.
3. Fees and payment terms
The fee is defined in the quote. Payment is made in two installments: 40% upon signing the contract (advance payment), 60% upon completion and handover of the work. Invoicing occurs after each payment.
4. Deadlines
Deadlines are defined in the contract. The deadline starts from the receipt of the advance payment and the necessary materials (content, images, access). Delays caused by the client extend the deadline proportionally.
5. Intellectual property
The source code of the completed project is handed over to the client in full. The client receives full ownership of the source code. Third-party libraries and tools remain under their respective licenses.
6. Warranty and guarantee
A 3-month warranty period is provided for the completed work, during which bugs and errors are fixed free of charge. The warranty does not cover problems caused by the client's modifications or third-party interventions.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract with 30 days' written notice. In case of termination, the client pays for the work completed up to the termination date.
8. Governing law
The contract is governed by Hungarian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary.
